GODA SHOTEN
We handle a variety of kelp products, including handmade Oboro kelp and Tororo kelp, which are traditional industries of Sakai, and Shiroita kelp, which is indispensable for the Osaka local dish battera-zushi. The Oboro kelp, shaved by skilled craftsmen with Sakai blades, is so thin that you can see through to the other side, and is excellent in udon noodles and soup or rolled into onigiri rice balls. The vinegar that has been used since the establishment of the company enhances the umami of the Hokkaido kelp.
